What I collect, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted.

This site is run by Ravinder Khurana from New Delhi, India. I'm the person responsible for your information. This page explains, in plain words, what I collect, why, who else sees it, how long I keep it, and how to get it deleted. You can reach me at mail@ravinderkhurana.com.
The short version
- I use your details to reply to you, and for nothing else. I don't sell them, rent them or use them for advertising.
- If you type a question into the Ask box, I save it, along with an anonymous ID, so I can improve the answers and follow up if you later leave a work email.
- If you paste something into the free review, an AI reads it to write the review. I don't save what you paste.
- Analytics cookies only run if you click Accept.
- You can ask me to delete everything I hold about you, any time.
What I collect, and why

If you confirm a work email, I link it to the anonymous ID in your browser, so the email I receive can show what you asked before you wrote. That's the only way your questions are tied to a name.
Cookies and similar storage

I don't use advertising cookies, social media pixels or tracking pixels. My fonts are served from this site, not from Google. You can change your analytics choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, and you can clear cookies in your browser.
Who else handles your information
- Anthropic, which runs the AI that writes the live answers and reviews. It receives the question or text you send, and processes it under its own terms and privacy policy (anthropic.com).
- Brevo, a French email service, which delivers my confirmation emails and any newsletter. It receives your email address and name.
- Google, for analytics, only if you accept cookies.
- My web hosting provider, which stores this site and its logs on its servers.
- If you click the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies.
These services may handle information outside India and outside your own country. I use them only to run the site. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or send it to you in a usable form. You can withdraw consent (for analytics or the newsletter) at any time. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link.
To use any of these rights, email mail@ravinderkhurana.com from the address in question. I'll answer within 30 days and, if you ask for deletion, remove your enquiries and logged questions from this site, and ask my email service to remove you from its lists.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under the laws that apply to you, such as the UK and EU GDPR, Australia's Privacy Act, US state privacy laws, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (for example the ICO in the UK, or the OAIC in Australia). I'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This site is for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from children. If you write to me about your own child, please leave out their name, school and other identifying details. I don't need them to help.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Stored enquiries and logs sit in folders that can't be opened from the web, and are accessible only to me and my hosting provider. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords, payment details or medical records through any form on this site.
Changes to this page
If I change how I handle information, I'll update this page and its date. For important changes I'll make it obvious on the site.
